Mumbai, June 9 (IANS) Equity-linked mutual funds recorded net inflows of over Rs 10,000 crore in May.

According to data provided by the Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) on Wednesday, net inflows amounted to Rs 10,082.98 crore.

In April, net inflows of equity-linked mutual funds amounted to Rs 3,437.37 crore.

Likewise in March, inflows amounted to Rs 9,115.12 crore

However, in February, net outflows from equity-linked mutual funds stood at Rs 4,534.36 crore.

In addition, data showed that the assets under management of the mutual fund industry reached a record high of Rs 33.05 lakh crore.

In addition, contributions through systematic investing have increased on a sequential basis over the past month.

SIP entries stood at Rs 8,818.90 crore in May compared to Rs 8,590.89 crore in April.

“The contribution focused on retail equities continues to be on the uptrend thanks to net flows mainly in the ‘Arbitrage, Multicap, Midcap’ programs, as well as smart diversification in the ‘Fund of Fund’ programs. that invest in foreign stocks, ”said AMFI NS CEO Venkatesh.

“Retail SIP Accounts, SIP AUMs and SIP Contribution, which means retail activity in the mutual fund industry has seen a continuing uptrend for the second month of this fiscal year, leading to overall industry AUMs reaching a record high of Rs 33.05 lakh crore and 10 crore folios. “
