Trend:

The natural gas tariff for Azeristiliktechizat OJSC, an Azerbaijani heating supply operator, and residential building boiler rooms has been reduced from 0.20 qepik (0.11 cent) to 0.13 qepik (0.07 cent) to ensure the sustainability of the natural gas heating system, as well as the optimization of the costs of using the heating system for the citizens of the country, the Azerbaijani Tariff Council told Trend.

The natural gas tariff for service stations will be reduced from 0.20 qepik (0.11 centime) to 0.13 qepik (0.07 centime) to stimulate the transition to environmentally friendly fuel and reduce the cost public transport using compressed natural gas (CNG).

Tariffs have been increased by five qepiks (0.02 centimes) in other areas (trade, services, etc.) because profitable activity is less dependent on natural gas tariffs.

The decision will take effect on July 1, 2021.
